A public program in connection with UNWORLDING/COLLAPSE, an exhibition of The Racial Imaginary Institute bringing together artists and writers to reimagine environments and relationships amid social and institutional breakdowns. MacArthur Fellow Josh Kun (2016) collaborates with local musicians to explore the musical politics of migration in Marseille and additional MacArthur Fellows Mel Chin (2019), Saidiya Hartman (2019), Maggie Nelson (2016), Claudia Rankine (2016), and Cameron Rowland(2019) discuss the state of collapse and the opportunity for generative artistic invention it offers.
