Neem Foundation

Neem Foundation is a leading crisis response organization with a mission to achieve global peace through social cohesion and psychological wellbeing. It is committed to protecting populations and communities who are affected by conflict, violence, and fragility. With this award, Neem Foundation offers mental health services to On Nigeria grantees, journalists, civil society activists, human rights defenders, and community members. It leaves behind skills in the healthcare system and the community for ongoing mental and psychological health services by setting up a permanent academy to train lay counselors to provide services. This award contributes to On Nigeria’s goal of reducing corruption and strengthening accountability, transparency, and participation by promoting and protecting its grantees’ psychological and mental health.
