The Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS), founded in 2006 and based in Stanford, CA, is a leading global research center on philanthropy (including innovation and policy) and the nonprofit sector. It publishes the Stanford Social Innovation Review, as well as reports of interest to donors and foundation leaders, conducts research, organizes events, offers classes about philanthropy at Stanford University, and hosts students and scholars studying the field of philanthropy. This grant provides Stanford PACS with flexible support.
