Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation

Founded in 2017, Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS) believes global issues demand a variety of perspectives. WCAPS is a membership organization that provides a platform devoted to women of color that cultivates a strong voice and network for its members while encouraging dialogue and strategies for engaging in policy discussions on an international scale. This award provides general operating support to WCAPS as it works to expand its membership, grow its executive team, and create a network of Historically Black Colleges and University students interested in careers in peace and security. Outcomes include more diverse perspectives in the international peace and security field.
