A mobile game, Hair Trigger, places players in the position of the President of The United States to task users to critically engage with the threat of nuclear war and the global cultural and political complexities that come with it. The game places the player at the center of a global nuclear threat, and all the political, ethical, and existential complications that accompany it. The player is then tasked with navigating this situation in the most politically, humanely safe manner. Developed by the Nuclear Threat Initiative with MacArthur support, Hair Trigger provides an engaging and personalized look into the challenging and complicated world of the nuclear age.
